PCN Update

Dear Colleague ,
As you are aware your Community Pharmacy PCN lead has been in contact to arrange a Zoom meeting. This meeting is to support PQS – PCN criteria and all pharmacies need to be involved.
To help, a PQS survey has been added to PharmOutcomes
Title – Contractor Survey to Support PQS 2020/21 PCN
Please try to complete this survey before attending the meeting, any queries can then be discuss.
As part of PQS your PCN lead has to feedback this information to the Clinical Director of each PCN, so it is important that all pharmacies complete the survey.

All meetings will take place via Zoom and below are meeting dates plus the relevant links.

Carlisle Rural PCN lead – New Lead
Expressions of interest (EOI) has been sent to all pharmacies within this PCN with a closing date of 13th Nov 2020. We have had one pharmacist come forward – Phil Jobson from Brampton Pharmacy.
If contractors are agreeable with this, Phil can then be appointed.

Keswick and Solway PCN – New Lead
As above, we have had one pharmacist return the EOI for Keswick and Solway PCN – Mark Stakim. If contractors are agreeable with this, Mark will be appointed.

Mid Furness and Carlisle Network PCNs – Leads stepped down
We have vacancies in the above PCN areas as leads have now stepped down and attached are the Expressions of interest forms (EOI)
If you have anyone that is interested, please complete the EOI asap and return to us. I have attached the papers for anyone that are interested.

PCN Community Pharmacy Representatives

16th December 2019

Over the next few months we will be working with the PCN Pharmacy Leads to engage with PCN Clinical Directors and ensure that they can provide evidence of having started the engagement process.
As a start to this process the PCN pharmacy representatives will be attending a Pharmacy PCN Leadership Development Workshop on the 15th January 2020. Further information will be available after this date.

PCN Community Pharmacy Representatives

PCM community pharmacy representatives for all 13 areas across Cumbria have now been selected. Community Pharmacy Cumbria are in the process of contacting the elected representatives. We will ensure that this information will be made available to all contractors, as it will be needed to claim under the PCN criteria for the Pharmacy Quality Scheme.
